1. About this service
cmpny.id is a subscription service that builds and hosts a company-profile website for your business, on a free subdomain (your-name.cmpny.id) or on a domain you own. The service is operated by cmpny.id.
By creating an account, paying, or using the service, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to represent it.
2. Your account
One account belongs to one organization and its site. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
- Give us accurate details and keep them current — we use them to invoice and reach you.
- Do not share account access with people who do not need it.
- Contact us immediately if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.
3. Subscription, pricing & payment
Subscriptions are billed annually in advance, in Indonesian Rupiah, at the price shown on the Pricing page at the time you pay. Prices may change for future terms, and we will tell you before a renewal.
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account shown in your dashboard, with proof of transfer uploaded, or through a licensed payment provider we use. Your site goes live once we have verified payment.
Every payment produces a numbered invoice you can download from your dashboard. Taxes, where they apply, follow Indonesian tax rules.
4. Renewal, grace period & deactivation
Subscriptions do not renew automatically and nothing is charged again without you acting. We remind you as your end date approaches. If we ever offer automatic renewal through a payment provider, it will apply only after you switch it on yourself, and you can cancel it at any time.
After your end date, your site stays live for 14 days as a grace period. After that it goes offline and visitors see a notice page instead of your site.
We keep your content for 90 days from the moment the site goes offline. Renew inside that window and your site comes back exactly as it was. After 90 days your content may be permanently deleted — download anything you need before then.
A trial ends on its end date with no grace period, since there is no late payment to be late with.
5. Refunds
You can request a full refund within 7 days of payment, as long as your site has not gone live yet. No questions asked.
Once your site is live the build work is already done, so payments are not refundable from that point. What we will still do at no cost: switch your plan, or move the rest of your term to another site in the same organization.
Refund requests go to the email or WhatsApp below. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days.
Fees you have paid to someone else — a domain registrar, for instance — are outside our control and are not covered by this refund.
6. Your content
The content you upload — text, logos, photos, business details — stays yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display it solely in order to run your site.
You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload, including third-party photos and writing. If someone objects to your content, answering that objection is your responsibility.
If your content contains other people's personal data — staff photos, contact numbers, customer testimonials — you are the controller of that information and must meet your own obligations under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law. The same applies to messages arriving through your site's contact form; the terms for those are in section 7.
7. Your customers' data and our role as processor
Your site has a contact form. When a visitor fills it in, the message is handed to your WhatsApp as it always has been, and one copy is kept in your dashboard so it does not disappear with a phone or a cleared chat history.
That copy is your visitors' personal data. You are its controller, and we act as the processor handling it on your behalf. This section is the data-processing agreement between us, and it applies for as long as you use the service.
What we commit to as processor, and what falls to you as controller:
- We process these messages solely to provide this service to you — never for our own purposes. We do not sell them, rent them, use them for marketing, or use them to train any system.
- The contents are readable from your dashboard. Our administration panel is built to show only how many messages there are and when they arrived, so our staff do not see what they say in the course of normal work. Direct technical access to the database remains with us as the operator, and is used only for maintenance or when you ask us for help.
- The protections we apply are the ones set out in the Privacy Policy: encrypted connections, access limited by role, and data separated per client.
- We add no third party to this processing beyond the provider hosting the service. If we ever need another sub-processor, we will tell you before it happens.
- You can delete a message at any time from your dashboard, and all of them are deleted with your account. Nothing expires automatically with age — how long this data is kept is your decision as controller.
- If there is a breach affecting this data, we will tell you without undue delay, so that you can meet your own notification duties.
- If a visitor contacts us to access or delete their data, we pass the request to you — their relationship is with you, not with us.
- Your obligation — to tell visitors to your site that what they send will be stored, and to make sure you have a lawful basis for collecting it. A live contact form with no privacy notice on your side is your responsibility, not ours.
- Your obligation — to answer visitors' requests about their data, including deletion, and to delete messages you no longer need. We provide the tool; deciding when to use it is yours.
- Your obligation — not to use the customer data collected here for anything beyond what those people expected when they wrote to you, such as bulk messaging without their consent (see section 8).
8. Prohibited use
The service must not be used for, or to link to:
- Online gambling, pornography, or any other content unlawful in Indonesia.
- Fraud, phishing, fake investment schemes, or impersonating someone else.
- Distributing malware, or attempting to break into, overload, or disrupt our systems or anyone else's.
- Infringing another party's copyright or trademarks.
- Hate speech, content attacking ethnic, religious or racial groups, or threats against people.
- Spam or bulk messaging without the recipients' consent.
9. Our intellectual property
Every template, design, piece of code, illustration and system behind cmpny.id belongs to us and is protected by copyright. Subscribing rents you the result, not the materials.
While your subscription is active you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display one site of yours on the template you chose. That licence ends when your subscription ends.
- You may not copy, bulk-download, reverse-engineer, or extract our template code or design.
- You may not reuse our template design, layout or markup for another site, whether your own or a client's.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute our templates in any form.
- The cmpny.id name and logo may not be used without our written permission.
10. Suspension & termination
You can leave at any time by not renewing. The refund terms in section 5 still apply.
We may suspend or terminate the service if payment is not made once the grace period ends, or if section 8 is broken. For breaches that can be fixed, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix them.
For clearly unlawful content, or where a competent authority orders it, we may take a site offline immediately without prior notice.
11. Custom domains
If you use your own domain, registering, renewing and owning it is yours to handle. We only help point its DNS at our server.
We are not responsible if your site becomes unreachable because your domain expired, was transferred, or was misconfigured at your registrar.
12. Service availability
We work to keep your site up at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Scheduled maintenance, network problems, or third-party failures can make a site temporarily unreachable.
For planned maintenance likely to be disruptive, we give notice in advance where we can.
13. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities, or other indirect losses arising from your use of it.
Our liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing here limits liability that Indonesian law does not permit to be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page always shows the current version.
For material changes — pricing, refunds, or rights over content — we will notify you by email or in your dashboard before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
If a dispute arises, we will try to settle it by discussion first. If discussion does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, it will be settled by the competent district court in Indonesia.
